Chicago's Annual Automobile Show Opens With Bang All Attendance Records Are Broken at Twenty-Third Ex hibition—Closed Cars Out standing Feature. Chicago, Jan. 28.—Chicago entered into its annua! automobile spree Sat urday when it welcomed the 23d na tional automobile show with open arms, scrambled for first \ic\f of alluring 1923 models and broke all at tendance records. There are on .exhibition 350 cars representing 79 manufacturers. Seven four makes of gasoline cars are shown. There are four makes of elec 'etc cars and one manufacturer Is ex hibiting a steamer. The Coliseum r packed to the limit, also the an nex, the First regiment armory, while several of the aristocrats among au tomobiles are being shown in the par lors of the leading hotels. closed car models, new und ex quisite body lines and remarkable de laii in standard equipment are, in iheir order, the outstanding feature of (he exposition. Rebels Renew Attacks in Irish Free State Dublin, Jan. 28.—(y A. P.)—The rebel campaign of murder and de struction continues unabated and al though these activities are mostly in the provinces.
