They ‘belong* to the car In the best sense of the word. “When the purchaser accepts deliv ery on Ills Paige G-70 he will receive two extra tires, the tire carriers being Installed, one on each side of the ear and so nrranged as to form an Im portant factor of design as well as of convenience. The bumpers fore and aft have also been designed to harmonize with external appearance. There Is a luggaVe carrier on the rear and touring models and sedans are also equipped with aluminum guards. Improved Curtains. ‘ Improved curtains of {he finest material are carried in the doors anil there is an extra large plate glass in the rear curtain. “The instruments are assembled under a single glass on the dash and Include, besides gasoline gauge and the like, a cigar lighter and a clock. Other valuable features of this com plete equipment are a moto-meter, permanent robe rail, tools carried in right front door with lock, improved type of drum headlights, sun visor, rear view mirror, combination tail and stop light, kick plates on the running board and automatic windshield wiper. “Another feature we believe will create general satisfaction Is the use of anti-squeak material at every point where metal touches metal or metal touches wood. Chassis Strengtliered. “The chassis has heen greatly strengthered and is more strongly braced. Improved body supports eliminate any possibility of squeaks or rattles. The axles front and rear are nn Improved Palge-Timken design. Snubbers are standard equipment and In conjunction with extra long springs and perfect balance assure easy riding. “Door handles and hinges are of an Improved design and there are double safety latches on open cars and closed models. Bright finish leather of the finest quality is used in the open cars *nd genuine leather is used through out for all trimmings. The upholstery Is built over deep Marshall type springs. A new arrangement of aux iliary seata In the seven-passenger models permits more leg room. “In addition to the various models built on the new Paige 6-70 chassis there are also the Paige-built Jewett models Introduced last March and which gained Immediate popularity, so that a complete line of sixes suit able in price for various pocketbooks is at the disposal of the buyer." Exhibit Shows Essex Body Sturdiness “Few motorists realize the sturdy and dependable construction of Essex coach bodies,” said Guy E. Smith, dis tributor for Hudson and Essex cars, “so we decided to conduct an educa tional exhibit which will demonstrate tlio lasting qualities of Essex coach construction. We shall hold this dem onstration all week in our stiles rooms at Twenty-sixth and Farnam streets. “The coach selected for this test is an ordinary stock car. It is turned up side down, thus placing the weight of 2,700 pounds directly on tha top. With the car in this position the doors ran he opened and shut and the win dows raised with apparent ease. “The economical design In body construction proves the possibility of production on a quantity basis and still maintaining the necessary excel lence In workmanship." In addition to this unique display there will be exhibits of Hudson and Essex chassis and Essex bodies In the various stages of construction and a display of Hudson and Essex parts. An orchestra and many other entertain ments delighted the visitors. Sales Force of Cadillac Meets 1922 Sales More Than double Those of 1921, Hansen Announces. A meeting of the salea fore* of the J. H. Hansen Cedillas company was held at Hotel Fontenelle Thursday evening at the close of a two months’ contest in which all salesmen and branches participated. Mr. Hansen announced that during 1922 more Cadillac care were sold by the J. H. Hansen Cadillac company than In any previous year, and over twice as many as In the year 1921. •Mr. Hansen laid before his men plans for greatly Increasing the business In 1923, and announced that a bonus would be divided according to tha Indi vidual efforts of salesmen If a certain number of new Cadillacs were sold and delivered by his organization dur | Ing the year. "The Cadillac factory Is making more cars than ever before and Is preparing for the same Increase In all territories as Mr. Hansen anticipates for his Omaha. Sarvis, director of deal ers' service of the Buick Motor com pany, has returned to the factory after holding a series of meetings in west ern and southern distributing cen ters. At all points the new Buick plan of definite service met with an enthusiastic and attentive reception. The plan, explained by Mr. Sarvis, was amplified by talks given by C. J.
