Tickets to Omaha **Bee-World Free I Show Going Fast Big Demand for Seats at Chil dren's Christmas Parties Wednesday and Thursday. Only one more day to get that free ticket for the Christmas parties at the World theater! The Omaha Bee and the World thea ter are co-operating to give 5,000 boys and girls a big time on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, when they will witness some clever vaudeville, a Harold Lloyd movie and a Christ mas tree. The trees will open at 10:15 and the show will commence at 10:45. “Children are clamoring for tick ets,” said Miss i’lorence McCabe of the Visiting Nurse association, one of the organizations which has been | distributing tickets to children under 14 all over Omaha. The Associated Charities and the City mission also re port a big demand for seats for the party. The tickets are being given out by many other organizations and as long as they last boys and girls can have them for the asking. A number ha\e been distributed In Ben son and many in South Omaha. Earl Fuller and the six musicians, who make tip his Jazz band; the two clever little Japanese tumblers, the Kitamuri brothers, and Beck and Stone, who will entertain at thel party, all want the children to know 00ow happy they are to give them the show. Christmas Invades Masonic Home Tree Loaded With Presents. Cheers Hearts of Children at Loral Institution. Council to Discuss Suburban Patrols Establishment of suburban police k patrols will be the chief topic of*discussion among members of the city council when they meet Thurs day night. The decision was reached yesterday morning after receiving petitions from various Ortiaha organisations. police Commlsioner H. W. Omaha Insurance Men to Go to Convention in Florida 8. M. Levey, agency manager of the Bankers Life Insurance company St Iowa, will leave Sunduy night for Si Augustine, Fla., to attend the agency convention of the Bankers Life Insurance company which will he held in that city on January 4. Stolen Purse Recovered „ in Rail Yards; Returned Miss Amelia Johnston of Ogden, Utah, reported the theft of her purse, containing nearly $1,000 In valuables, while she was telephoning from the Union station Saturday evening. Yesterday morning a railroad man, whose name was not learned, picked up tlie handbag in the yards at Gib sop and reported his find to police. A diamond ring valued at $400 was found in one corner of the bag. and the thief had also left $100 in Lib erty bonds, making off with only $35 in cash.
