A field meet will be held at the Uni
versity, November 4, according, to the
statement ft Captain Murtln, varsity
weight coach. Seven events will be
scheduled: Uroad jump, high Jump,
Javelin, hammer throw, pole vault,
shot put and discus throw. Anyone
in the university will be allowei to
compete, from varsity "I" men to
freshmen. Numeral sweaters will, be
given to these who place high In the
events, provided their scholarship
averages are O. K. A silver medal
will also be awarded to tho winner of
first place In each event, and bronze
medal to thoso who take second or
