founded in 1852 and hat national

Two more Figgly Wiggly ttores
were opened yesterday, known as the
"Piggly Wiggly Twins," on account
of the similarity of their addresses.
One it located at 2305 Cuming, the
other at 2305 Leavenworth. This
brings the total stores in Omaha to
14, according to W. E. Haynes, lo
cal manager.
Several stores are also in the
course of preparation and many more
will be established both in this city
and in the state, it is said.
The organization already has i
more than 1,000 stores in the United
States.
Central High School
- Open House Next Friday
Central High school will keep
"open house" on Friday evening,
September 29. President Reed of
the board of education, Superinten
dent Bcveridge, Assistant Superin
tendent Belle Ryan, ArtbAir Wells,
president of the Parent-Teachers as
sociation, and Principal J. G. Mas
ters will be in the receiving line. ,
All laboratories will be open, the
Glee club, orchestra and band will
give concerts, a radio outfit is to be
installed and the domestic science
department will serve refreshments.
The whole building will be open for
inspection and. the entire faculty of
102 member will be present to greet
patrona and students. There is an
unwriteen agreement that on this
occasion no embarrassing matters
will be mentioned.
