Sisler May Try to
Play Next Saturday
St. Louis, Sept. 14. Though
ordered by the club's physician to
take rest for at least one week, it
il generally believed by the follow
ers of the local Americans th.it
George Sisler, star first baseman of
the Browns, will attempt to get into
the lineup when the Urowns meet
the New York team here Saturday in
the first of a three-game series. This
aeries is generally looked upon as
the deciding factor in the race for
the pennant in the American league.
Sisler, who was injured in Mon
day's game by spraining his right
shoulder in reaching for a wide
throw, his teammates declare, is de
termined to get into the Brown.
Yankee series. But, according to
the club s physician, Dr. K.' Hyland,
his attemdt would be futile and would
probably aggravate his injury.
