Nyack, N. Sept. 8, Last
month lorris Kohn, who has an
estate at Nonuet, near here, had his
cellar raided by burglars and about
all his liquor removed.
Today he is going around with a
daed look on his fane because some
time between midnight and this
morning they returned and left
stacked on his big porch practically
all of the wet goods they, had taken
in August.
Attached to one package was a
note which said the gang had ex
perienced a change of heart after
seeing a man in a movie nearly die
of thirst and decided that to rob a
man's cellar was something no self
resoccting burglar would do.
Deputy Sheriff Johns, who had
been working on the first burglary,
is trying lo trace the note writers,
but Kohn is in favor of letting the
matter rest where it is.
