vance cam after an early break and
the cloae wa near the top, with
gain of 5-8 to 1 Mc on wheat; 1 l-8c
on July, and 1-2 to 5-8c on distant
future. Oat were unchanged to Mc
higher, rye Me lower to S-8c higher
with December showing the moit
itrength. Lard wa low early, but
reacted and cloacd unchanged to
12 1 -2c higher. Trading wa of fair
volume, strike new a wa more in fa
vor of settlement and the trade on
the whole too beariih.
Wheat wa under early pressure
from local traders. After a moderate
advance, due to atrongcr cable,
which failed to reflect the late break
here on Wednesday, wheat sold off
after the early run of buying only to
advance 1 1-4 to cents. It finished
with July up to $1.10 1-2: September.
$1.08 1-4, and December, $1.10 1-4.

awaiting the government condition report

were bid up 16 to 21 points soon after the
opening, but selling for Japanese and

ction that wiped out all the gain and

lota In mid-aession. A better class of
outside support waa met in the afternoon
and the list advanced to a level 20 to
30 nolnts over the last previous finals.
Demand came from shorts and the trade,
