He told me Mr. Farrell bought this expensive per fume on frequent occasions." Mrs. Farrell said through a mes senger boy she learned that her hus band was buying the perfume for an other woman "with whom he was keeping company ajid having im proper relations." She said she wanted to start a divorce action five years before, but on the advice of her attorney she did not. Shortly before her baby boy was born her husband was out every niRht drunk, she testified, adding that he staged wild parties with other men and women. $5,000 Alimony. Mrs. Farrell was awarded $5,000 alimony to be paid over a period of five years. She also is to receive S75 a month for the support of her three children. Mr. and Mrs. Van B. Lady, 5011 Chicago street, Mrs. Farrcll's par ents, were in court during the hear ing. Mrs. Lady testified she saw bruises on her daughter's back, in flicted by Farrell. Mrs. Lady also testified that when Mrs. Farrell was away women called up at all hours of the night for "Howard."
