All the merchants had their display windows decorated with the three links and the colors of the lodge. They are to be commended also the Uoosters Committee who can ed on the merchants to decorate for this occasion. In the afternoon the program was held at tho Auditorium altho the at tendance was uot as large us expected The Red Cloud High .School Orchestra played several pieces after which the Methodist church choir rendered two) anthems which were appreciated by . the audience. E. J. Overing Jr. gave the address of welcome, he stilting that thu occasion being like it great, family ictiuiou of its members, that the lodge was organized in the United States, April 2(1, 19l.i and that Odd Fellowship had spread to all parts of the world. Watkinsund Miss Huh Burrett pleased the audience with u duett after which Rev. Nelson spoke on the subject "Odd Fellowship and the Bible" which he 6uid was chosen for him. He stated that the Bible was the greatest book of the world and that the teachings of odd Fellowship were taken from it. That tho story of Duvld and Jonathan also of the good Samaritan were good examples of its teachings. The male quintette render ed two selections which wore very ap propriate. Attorney F. K. Maurer spoke oh the subject of "Odd Fellowship and the State." He said that one could uot bo a good Odd Fellow unless he was a good citizen and lived up to tho laws. He then dwelt upon some of the pre sent duy tendencies which wero a menace to tho country. His address was well delivered, and well tukiiti by the audience. ' Mrs. Kuiley closed tho program with one of her popular readings after which tho audience led by the choir sing "God Be With you Till We- Meet Again," and Rev. Nelson pronounced tho benediction. In the evening the lodge convened at the Masonic hull whore the Frank lin and Red Cloud degree stairs con ferred tho work on a class of six mem bers. Kiteh team putting on the work very creditable. A lnrgu number of the members from the surrounding towns were present and tho occasion will long bo remembered by those In itlteiTdunce. At tho cjoso the members set down to a lunch carved by tho Robekuh lodge who also served an excellent supper at fi;!0.
