Tho object of this card is two-fold: First of all to thank you siiicorely,
for your royal support in nominating mo a compliment which any man may
well be proud of.
Second. It is my way of introducing myselt into the political Arena
'Let's shake" now that we are acquainted lot's get to biz. I urn a Candidate

YOUlt HOME, it is MY HuMH. Our llrst and great object should be tomnko
laws that shall 1IUILD VV and PROTECT all of the HOMES of Webster
County! To this "Common Cause" let me ask the support of evory voter.
Thanking you for whatever you may be able to do Tor me, and pledging
you, If elected, my very best elVorts for all of Webster County.
In this ago of political Chicanery uvery voter has a right to know what
his Representative stands for. Ho should declare himself openly, and "on
the squaro, ' aud when elected, should thus conduct himself.
Government llrst. party second; principles llrst, party second; men llrst
and party second. This Is MY political creed.
Business principles should be inculcated into politics to thu end that all
needless expense may be saved.
Hlonnlul elections is what tho tax payors want, it would save thousands
of dollars.
The present Primary Law is a needless double-tux upon the taxpayers,
auu glioma oe repealed.
Th Agriculture Intorest of our County demands better 'roads. A law
should be enacted providing for smaller road districts in the counties, with
local faolf-government. All moneys for roads, and bridges should bo equitably
apportioned and distributed among the several countios:
1 stand for County Option, and firmly believe that Good Huwrnmbnt
and Publio Morals will be best served in that way. '
