The Chiea Times heads its telegraphic column, "Hilly be damned; that's what Ohio Biiid t Bill Allen yesterday." Iowa goes Republican by about 40, 000, and the Legislature, will be largely republican. Our own Statu has carried the Re publican Judges, Lake. (Jantt, and Maxwell, undoubtedly, and most of the District Judges. It is thought that S;ivagr (Demj lu the Omaha district is elected. Pound. Judge in our district is elect ed, while Smith, district Attorney, probably defeated. Vallentinw (Rep; is said to be elect ed in that district. On the whole we have got through very well. Lancaster polled a very heavy vote. Linceln gave 3 K) Republican majority. We may safely say the tid.il wave h.is turned and thro are republican gains at large, wherever there was an election Tuesday. AT noun. In Cass County it is pretty safe; we have carried the whole county ticket, except Treasurer, and county Commis missiuner. Four precincts have not been heard from yet. On Probate Judge it is close, but we think Mr. Newell wins. Our lists above give the majorities. Ramsey (Dem) is elected Commissioner. OX COUNTY SEAT.
