St. Luke's Church, that is, with what
had been given before. I5y liquidating
this debt we raise our credit abrond,
and pave the way for new enterprises,
by showing that we have the grit and
ability to meet our obligation?, one

The thanks of the Society are due
Mr. John Fitzgerald for the liberal
terms allowed for the Hall, and also
for the use of a Piano, without which
the Coricerte came near being a failure,
at one time.
Of course all our own people did well
and worked well. To select any par
ticular persons for praise, would be un
just and invidious; but we think no
one will feel hurt if avc call attention
to the untiring energy and unflinching
?:eiil of Mr. Ocil Williams, to whose
exertions, as head of tlie Business
Committee, and to whose forethought
and carefulness the Society are indebt
ed, that all the necessary adjuncts the
