In this city, March 4th, 18G9, cf Con
gestion of tha Lungs, Mr. J. W, Ssow,
aged 53 years.
Mr. Snow was born in Lancaster City,
Lancaster county, Pennsylvania, was a
printer by trade, and was at the time of
his death an employee in the Herald of
fice. ' Ho was the editor "and proprietor
cf a weekly paper in Missouri for some
years, but was compelled to abandon H
at the outbreak of the recent war. lie
un ted with the M. E. Char :h at the early
nze of 14 years, and lived nn exemplary
Christian life from thai day until bis
death, and died firm in the faith. Mr.
Snow was in every re-pect an exemplary
into, believing than nn honorable name!
