Lope Star .Mining Comtant. This Co.,
under the management of its gentb'nian-
ly ng'iit, Capt. j'eo. K. Kimball, passed
through our streets last evening, en-route
for the gold fklds of Colorado. The
train is mostly loaded with costly ma
chinery, which will be put in operation
immediately upon its arrival. The com
pany is from the city of Boston, and we
are pleased to see have been so fortunate
as to secure the services of Cant. K..

train master, Mr. Ceo. F. Know ies, is tha
right man in the right place, while that
inimitable Clark is always on hand and
ready to "smile." The train is compos

Grand Concert anu Festival. There
w ill be a grand Concert and Festival giv
en at the Brick School House on Friday
evening next (Aug. 11th) for the benefit
of theM. E. Church. The proceeds will
be used for repairing the Parsonage.
