At a meeting cf tbe talola City Company held June 12th, 1858, there was a resolution passed ordering the President to give notice to all the Shareholders to pay the amoant due witbin sixty days, or la default of pay ment all the stock on which tbe assessments were not paid in sixty days, from the date thereof, should be sold to tbe highest bidder, nnd the assessment paid ; and tbe overplue if any, to be subject te the order of the .Share holders. On the 23J day of Augunt 1800, there was another resolution passed, giving the Presi dent power to do what was most expedient in hi ju'lgtneot with the property and a-sets of the Curnpany, te meet the liabilities of tbe tarn e.
