The persons of whom we poke last week as having been arrested on Sonora Islsnd, on charge of stealing mules and cattle, were taken to Nebraska City, and tried. The most of them were dis charged, there being no evidence against them. Three of the number were bound over. There was a disposition to lynch the whole crowd We are glad to know that the councils of the better portion of community in that city prevailed, and law let have its course. Bishop Talbot, Judge Kinney, Col. Bell, and Hon. W. II. Tay lor, addressed the crowd effectually, in favor of "law and order" BrOOIIlS. We call attention to the advertisement of Mr. Suelleexbergeil. He took a so4uad of men, went out, captured the Colonel and caged him with the bal ance of his pets. Secessionists in this region, as else where, will soon find there is not so much fun in the realities cf these insurrection ary movements.
