June7th, 1858 , . -1f . :ML G. 1I0IE3 & CO,; : '-Now 1G, Main' Street, St. Loris 11a' : : r4 GENTS for Straub'a Corn and Wheat Mill il the "Queen of th South." This remarkable Mill has been kept secured to the inventor by caveat recently, however, (Jcne 27th, 1354.) Letters Patent for the United States have been granted, se curing the invention for fourteen years. This Mill has sustained itself wherever it has been brought in to competition with other Hills. - It was ran against the other'miike of Mills of our city, at the Ohio State Fair, in 1850, when it- drew a' diploma as the best Cora Mill, and was awarded a fine silver medal. Of these 31ills we manufacture, fire sijes for corn, and three expressly for grinding wheat Eour. The peculiar novelty cf this Mill is, the under stone is the running stone, in all cases,- Thnre is no limit to the speed, and as speed is everything in grind ing, it will out grind any cppergriuLr in tbo world. Secondly: By this arrangement w- are enabled to get grain into tho Mill with a very Hmall eye, conse quently we grind nearer the ecntre, and of course with less powet than any upper runner can be made. Thirdly: Our Mill takes any kind of grain without ehoking. We warrant against choking ia any and all cases. This is a great vexation cansing delay and trouble in all Mills where the upper stone is the run ner. Of cosr;, we mean small MCls, where the mo tion must be hirrh to do much business. Fourthly: Our Mills never take unjury by running empty tha under stone not touching the upper one, bo injury can be done. This is an importans advan tage over all Mills where the upper stono is the run ner. : --August 23,1303.. Vlal2tf FRESH DRY GOODS. EEDY, JA2IESON & CO., Nbs. Ii0 and 11 '2 Jfain St., St. Louts.
