The cotiuty commissioners held a
short session this morning, and this
attcrnoou started out on a thorough in
spection of all the bridges in the coun
ty. They take the county engineer
with them, and will take the measure
ments and estimates of all the bridges
washed out or gone, with a view to re placing
them at once. They do not
estimate the damage done to the
bridge at $30,000, as some of them had
about served their time anyway, but
the estimate is based upon the bridges
needed to replace th old ones, and
those destroyed by tho floods. They
will be out all of this week and longer
