Twenly-nino Russians will bo

Senator J. C. Burrows of Mlch
gan announces that ho will bo a can
dldato for re-olectlon and asks for
nn ondorsomont at tho republican
primary. Ho says ho endorses tho
Taft administration.

dispatch from Pocomoko City, Md.:
"Postmaster 0. J. Lucas of this city
received a letter which ho was un
able to deliver. It was addressed to
'Jesus, heaven.' The assistant post
master, his daughter, found that the
missive was mailed by a little girl,
Olga Wulff, of this place, who wrote
the Saviour in childish phraseology
thanking Him for saving her sister,
Vivien, from drowning. The latter
fell Into the Pocomoke river and was
rescued. The letter was returned to
tho Wulff family."

Wisconsin nominated W. A. Jacobs
of Racine for governor, and Emil

The town of Guthrie, W. Va., was
destroyed by a tornado.
A London cablegram carried by
the New York World says: "Wil
liam Randolph Hearst was robbed of
a pocketbook containing nearly $20,
000 in bank notes in Cathedral
