A Federal Judge
has issued aninjuno
tion, forbidding men
TO GIVE FOOD TO
NEEDY MINERS ON STBEKE. This Judge de
clares his will that the miners on strike shall not
he helped by contributions of food or money. And
he says that he mil put in prison any who show
contempt for him by disobeying his orders. There
are many hungry women and children among the
families of striking miners. If YOTT, Mr. Header,
should go to West Virginia and give food to these
needy ones, Judge Kellar, of the United States
Court, would put you in jail. You -expect perhaps
that this Judge will he denounced .here. Not at
all. The people owe him thanks. No man is more
useful than he who makes men and women think
earnestly. Judge Keller's injunction will force
men to think. It will force even the most callous
to take a new view of the strikers' cause and of the
Federal Judge's use of power. This starvation
injunction, which says it is wrong to feed the
hungry for fear they may not he starved hack
to work will do more than anything else to take
from Judges the injunction power. Be thankful
to Judge Kellar, United States Judge. His action
