J.,, plant inducted into the Company’s 25-Year club last week. Howard Nelson and Edward J Byrd, both employes in the Ware- ! house and Shipping Department at Camden, received engraved! wrist watches and were congrat ulated by Walter A. Buck, Vice President and General Manager of the RCA Victor Division. Nearly 1,000 employes and many of the company’s executives participated in the^ luncheon ceremonies in Philadelphia. In saluting their pioneering ef forts in the radio-electronics in- j dustry, Mr. Buck declared: “Radio j and radar in all their many appli- I cations and forms, home television, ] theatre television, electron micro- | scopes, signals bounced off the I moon, planes flown by remote j control—these are some of the, phenomena that have already! caused historians to dub this the ! Electronic Age."
