A nine-year-old girl, Dolores Grant, has collected $431 in her drive for the hospital fund. The fund seeks $500,000. A rooter for the Londo-n Soccer Club, Queen s Park hangers, he is training with the club’s players. Main site of the Olympic Game will be Londons Wembley stadium. A graduate of Tuskegee institute in 1943, she received her master’s degree from the University of Chi cago. She is now working for a Ph. =================== Dentists Refuse Service to Negro School Children DETROIT. (ANP). Free dental examinations for school children in 50 Detroit schools met a snag last week when some white denr tists refused to examine Negro I children. Tests at Higginbotham | school had to be temporarily halted because of this. Examinations will be resumed as soon as possible, said Dr. Alfred E. Seyler, chairman of the Coun cil on Public Health and Educa tion of the Detroit District Dental society, an inter-racial group. Regional School Plan Approved WASHINGTON. (ANP). The southern governors’ plan for reg ional schools in the south was ap proved last week by the house judiciary sub-committee. The full committee may act next week. A similar bill for approval of the plan is also in the senate. The 15 states agreeing to the scheme are Alabama, Arkansas South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, Tennessee, i Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Louisi ana and Oklahoma.
