Social Briefs By Basilia Bell LEST WE FORGET THE SICK Mrs. Ola Baker, 1916 Vine, was hospitalized Saturday after a heart attack suffered at her home. Mrs. Basilia Bell, 1945 Vine is confined to her home due_ to ill ness. Mrs. Loretta Swanigan, 726 Rose, is indisposed. WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENT Mrs. Lenora Roberts and Mr. Robert Letcher were united in marriage at the Mt. Zion Baptist parsonage on December 19. The Rev. John Favors performed the ceremony. They are home to friends at 2014 S Street. BIRTHS It’s a boy for Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Cutlef, 2026 Q, born Sat urday. January 3. Fraternities and Sororities repre sented were: Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Alpha Kappa iftpha, Omega Phi Psi. * * * Monday Miss Kelley entertained for Frank Burden, who is home on furlough, Lynnwood Parker and Thomas Kidd. * * * Mr. and Mrs. Richard Huston entertained 24 guests Christmas day. Then add dry ingredients, al ternately with milk. Add date mixture and nuts.
