Memory Verse: “Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift. II Cor. 9:15. This is a season of giving. Dur ing the Christmas time we show ■ er our friends and relatives with I gifts, often costing more than we can afford. Too frequently we compare the gifts we send out, with the return we receive and regret that our out go was more than the in take. But at this season we call to mind a gift sent us from heaven. Christ Jesus is spoken of as the “unspeakable Gift” because words fail in describing this gift to the world. This Gift came because God loved us. It was given with out any thought of return, except, expecting a return of love. Love both to the Giver and to our fellowman. This gift was giv en unselfishly. So our gifts to God and our fellow man, should be unselfish. We can find joy in sharing what we have with those who have not. At this season our race hatreds should be forgotten. The hymn sung so many years ago, should at this season be a reality. Let us join with Heaven’s Angeles, in the chorus as they sing: “Joy to the world.” Peace on Earth, Good Will to all men. For unto us a son is Given. We shall save the people from their sins.” -o EVERYBODY SHOULD BE IDENTIFIED WITH SOME CHURCH.
