SODALITY HAS PICNIC
Suuday afternoon, May 21, a large
number of the young people's B. V.
M. Sodality of the Holy Rosary
church and St. John's church of this
city, accompanied by a number ot
adult chaperones, motored to Ne
braska City where they attended a
picnic of the Plattsmouth Young
Teople's Deanery. The picnic was
held at the Mike Roddy farm on
Goose Hill road, two miles north
of Nebraska City.
The afternoon was spent in play
ing games of all kinds and meeting
and acquainting themselves with a
number of oilier young people of
different towns.

paster of St. Johns church, ana
Rev. Joseph R. Siukula, pastor of
Holy Rosary church, were also pres
ent among the young people, who
number almost seventy-five.
Miss Clara Toman served as chair
man of the Plattsmouth group.
Following the afternoon of enjoy
ment and entertainment, the group
indulged in refreshments, each com
ing with well laden baskets of food.

SUFFERS FROM MEASLES
Maybelle "Warga, small ' daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Warga,
of south of the city, is suffering from
an attack of measles and which has
made necessary her being kept con
fined to the home. The case is pro
gressing very nicely, however.
