This time, because the Quaker company has been changing adver tising agencies, a little longer delay than usual has been experienced in getting the ads running again. It was two years ago that Quaker cut down on their large paper ad vertisements to give the small town dailies and weeklies a trial over a six months period. So successful did that trial prove, that ever since, a great majority of the more than 500 papers in which advertising was or dered are still presenting Quaker's advertising message to their readers, as mounting sales repeatedly inform the Quaker company that they made no mistake in contracting ads in the smaller papers. Local grocers are co-operating in this extensive new drive to publicize the health benefits and economy of Quaker Oats as a year-around cereal, by stocking new fresh supplies, ar ranging window and shelf displays and calling attention to their own ads to Quaker Oatmeal as nature's richest economical food source of Thiamin (Vitamin B) the food ele ment that is essential for sound nerves and good digestion. Read the new series of Quaker ads now appearing in the Semi Weekly Journal. PICK UP INJURED MAN Sunday afternoon Clyde Kohler, who claims his residence at Tekamah, was found wandering along the high way near the Platte river and was brought on into this city as he had apparently been injured in a wreck. The injured man stated to Deputy Sheriff Cass Sylveste.- that he had been riding with a stranger and who had beat up on him and inflicted lacerations and bruises. Later the man claimed to have been in a small auto smashup and which had caused him additional cuts. The man was treated at the office of Dr. O. C. Hud son and remained at the Hotel Platts mouth until the arrival of members of his family to take him home. SPENT WEEK END HERE Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Tomlinson, of Indianola, Iowa. Mrs. Lydia M.
