Petersen of Frank Cook Eirthday Club Meets The Eirthday club met Saturday afternoon with Mrs. Hallie Ferry. All the members were present. A round robin letter was written to Mrs. V. A. Wells of Lcs Angeles. The afternoon was spent in visiting. Easter decorations were used, with candy chicks as favors. The table centerpiece was candles and daisies. Hold Family Party Mr. and Mrs. A. A pleasant social evening was held, the group playing games and visiting. Delicious refreshments were served. Mrs. Schutz was as Fisted in the games and serving by her daughter, Mrs. Earl Mraaek. Now Hearing Completion. The final touches are being piven to the hamLsonie suite of offices in the Hotel Plattsmouth building which are to be occupied by Dr. O. C. Hudson this week. The offices are handsomely arrang ed and the very last word in con venience and comfbrt for the patients amf the physician and staff and its beauty and restful settinjrs make it a very pleasant spot. The room has been arranged in six small private rooms at the rear of the main lobby and waiting- room which has every convenience for car ing for the patients and attractive lighting effects make the operating and treatment rooms very atractive. All through the offices the color tones of cream aad light tan are car ried out in the wall and ceiling cover ings of sound proof and air condi tioning composition. The floors are covered with a dark linolieum with red effects which serve to add to the beauty and general rest fulness of the rooms. From the waiting room is the office of the suite and where Mrs. Hudson will be able to look after the requests of the patients and see to their needs. Here the desk and filing cases of the suite is kept handy for the use of the office force. There are two well lighted and ar ranged operating rooms with the lat est equipment where every facility is offered in treating. On the south of the hallway is found two very pleasantly arranged rooms' where electric treatments can be given and the ample space permit? quietness and rest. The entire suite has the latest type of indirect lighting suitable for this type oi office. A special work room and labora tory is located in the rear of the suite for the convenience of the physician and his assistants. Another of the features of the suite is a rest room where a hospital bed of the latest type is installed and where those undergoing minor opera tions can be cared for in perfect com fort and with the latest hospital eq uipment. This room is also provided with a clothes closet for the garments of the patients. PING-PONG MINDED Since the inauguration of ping pong at the Recreation Center on Wednesday, April 6, there has been excellent response from the young men who are interested in this sport; but the ladies are not to be out done and have almost demanded a chance to show their abilty at the great American game of table tennis. Monday evening, April 18, the table is to be turned over to the women under the supervision of Mrs. V. F. Kelly. Siirader. one of the long time residents of Cass county, celebrated her eighty-fifth birthday on Sundav. Ami 10th. and was the honor guest at a very pleasant sur prise arranged by her daughter, Mrs. Dick Chriswisser, with a few rel atives being invited in to make the event a complete surprise. The members of the party came with well filled baskets and a boun tiful dinner was served tbat everyone enjoyed to the utmost and it was a real treat to all to meet with "Aunt Rachel," as she is affectionately known by the members of the family. This also was the first birthday surprise that Mrs. Shrader has en joyed and was one that she will long cherish. The day was spent in visiting and meeting with the relatives, some of whom had not enjoyed meeting be fore. Ther were many beautiful flowers and presents and a birthday card shower tovadd to the enjoyment of all of the members of the party.
