Jennings who has been very sick at her heme in Murray for more than a year still remains very poorly, and is only able to be up when helped into her wheel chair, thus re quiring much care. PRAISES DOCK WOEK The Sunday Lincoln Star and Journal had a very interesting ar ticle en the new dock proposition for this city that has placed it as the first town in the state to have their idans under way. The article also has a fine cut of the hustling committee composed of T. H. Pol lock, A. L. Tidd and E. J. Rickey, who have so successfully conducted the campaign. Last Monday Troy Davis and wife departed in their auto for a trip which is to extend two or three weeks and which will include the state of Missouri anu a portion of ArKansas. aey will view the wonders of the. !iT- Hill x-iiTA- hii ,Tr,,lr.i-c . F 4 hn . Ozark region and visit with relatives and friends along the way. Two Weeks at Washington. Some four young people of Ne braska, members of the 4-II clubs of the state who have been outstanding in their work are departing this com ing Sunday for Washington. D. C, where they will camp with repre sentatives from other states for some two weeks. The members of the part will meet at Omaha and take the Burlington Zephyr to Chicago and following that they will travel during the day and stop at night, thus bring able to see all the country through which they pass. They will be fur nished quarters at the camp at Wash ington where they can enjoy the time spent there. Will Celebrate National Day. At H:o0 Bible study is held, j lo o'clock brings a handwork j period and recreation or drama is 'held from 10:30 to 11. At eleven j tlie childrtn go upstairs for church. : service. A half-hour service is held i just, as regular church. Ushers seat the children. Dr. II. G. McCIusky led tho church service Monday. Rev. G. A. Pahl con ducted the worship today. Rev. J. V.'. Taenzler is in charge on Wednesday; Miss Estelle I'.aird, on Thursday; and Dr. McClUoky on Friday. The kindergarten school opens with a song and prayer service. A Bible story is followed by a dramatization then a nature story. Handwork pre cedes period of outdoor recreation. Next on the program is a rest and lunch period. A period of study fol lows tnen song period and dismissal. Children in the kindergarten are studying the seeds and their growth today. They planted seed 5 in egg shells. Much of the credit for the session this summer goes to Miss Eleanor Minor and her mother, Mrs. L. (. Minor, who organized the classes and secured teachers.
