Foreign Missionary Society Mrs. C. C. Wescott entertained tne Foreign Misionary society at the meeting Thursday afternoon. Mrs. V. C. Guest at Omaha Party Miss Ada Kinsel went to Omaha this afternoon for a short visit with her parents. This evening she and her sister. Those who attended the group achievement at Platts mouth and those who went to Weep ing Water for the county achieve ment gave reports. Achievement day for the Riverview club was held April 13. at the home of Mrs. Robert Patterson. Among the visitors was Mrs. sterling ngwerson. i group chairman. Ramge, treasurer of the Plattsmouth Loan and Building association, were at a meeting of the Nebraska Loan & Building association held at Lincoln, and were accompanied by John Lutz. The meeting was one of the most interesting in a number of years, the Plattsmouth visitors report and the general feeling was one of improve ment in the general condition of the country. Entertains at Dinner Mrs. Bertha Jackson of Chicago en tertained at a one o'clock dinner Wednesday afternoon. Guests were Mrs. Elmer Tavlor. Miss Olive Gass, Miss Margaret He Igert, and Miss Anna Heisel. Following the dinner the ladies were guests of Mrs. Jack son at a theatre party at the Cass. Mrs. Jackson leaves this afternoon for Omaha where she will be a guest at the home of her brother-in-law. Judge Jesse Root. Later in the sum mer she plans a trip to Mexico, then through the west. She will make her home in California during the com ing winter. Wednesday Bridge Club Mrs. James Mauzy was hostess to the Wednesday afternoon tridge club. Mrs. Hilt Martin won high score. Golden Eod Study Club Amateur Photography was the sub ject of study at the meeting of the Golden Rod Study club at the home of Mrs. Virgil Terry Thursday after noon. Mrs. Glen Wiles, leader, gave pointers on methods of taking suc cessful pictures. She also gave a number of reasons for failures and their correction. Roll call was an swered by the presentation of unusual or interesting pictures taken by the members. A folder showing flaws in negatives was given to the leader by Emil Weyrich for study by the club.
