HAS A TONSILECTOMY
From Thursday's Daily
This morning Sheri" Homer Syl
vester was given a tonsilectomy at

ly and it i? hoped will soon be on
the highway to recovery. The sheriff

OPTIMISTIC! Sure, that's hew we feci about the out
look for 1 936. We believe there's much happiness an:l
increased prosperity in store for all of us. That's why
we take pleasure in making cur greeting so sincere.
Yet. it is not with regret that we watch 1935 pass, for
while the year has had its disappointments and failures,
we feel that we have grown richer in the friendships we
have made and strengthened. It is our hope that these
may continue in the years to come, and that the Journal
may continue to serve its advertisers and readers even
more efficiently, not only in 1936, but years to come.
