The health department under the direction of Miss Bernlce Am and through the co-operation of the local dentists have completed a dental clinic which has proven very help ful to the children of the commun ity. The local dentists grave their time and equipment absolutely free in order inai every canu in me riattsmouth schools might receive dental attention. The health department of the schools very much appreciates this service that the dentists have given without any charge to the Platts mouth school children. The follow ing is the report of the school nurse regarding this clinic: Dental Report. One hundred and seventy-six den tal announcements were sent to par ents for signatures to permit school children to have dental work done. These slips were to be Bigned by parents who were financially unable to get work. Out of these, one hun dred one were returned signed. Nine teen slips, returned, explaining that the parent was able to have dental work taken care of. In Parochial school there were thirty letters sent out and twenty seven returned signed. For dental arrangements per sonal appointments were made by Central building where they were to receive appointment cards and in structions. Although parents were slow In making personal appointments, they were very co-operative and punctual in bringing their children to the of fices after receiving the appointment card from the class room. The plaintiff alleges as the result of the accident that she received se vere and permanent injuries and for which the sum of $15,000 is asked. The allegations of the plaintiff are that the truck was operated care lessly and that the driver failed to apply his brakes as he should on see ing the bicycle in his path. NEW DODGE AGENCY Lee Smith, of Lincoln, is preparing to open a new agency here for the celebrated Dodge cars of which he has been a representative in the cap- ltol city for a number of years. Mr. Smith will have the agency and salesroom located in the north rooms of the ground floor of the Hotel PlattBmouth. It is hoped to have the rooms ready and decorated by the end of the week for the use as sales rooms and which when completed will make one of the attractive auto display rooms of the city. The new agency will be a pleas ing addition to the auto firms of the city and bring here a new addition to the citizenry of the community. VISITS OLD FEIENDS VISITING IN CITY Dr. and Mrs. A. King is the pas tor of the First Presbyterian church of Hastings and one of the leaders of the church in the state. From Tuesday's Dally Mrs. Anna May Wooley, a resident here for a number of years, was in the city today to visit with old time friends. Mrs. Wooley was accom panied by her daughter, and enjoy ed meeting many of the old time friends. Mrs. Wooley has been spend ing some years in the east where she has been caring for a brother and is now returning to the west to make her home.
