Nichols at Louisville, was the scene of a charming high noon wed ding today when their youngest daughter, Miss Voline Ann, was unit ed in marriage to MrAndrew Lund eigen, Jr. The wedding ceremony was held In the large bay window of the living room which was arranged in the floral decorations of the early spring season. The marriage lines were read by Rev. Robert D. Murphree, pastor of the First Methodist church of Louisville. Preceding the ceremony, Ross Nichols and Mrs. George Dolan, bro ther and sister of the bride, played two numbers on the saxophone and piano, "I Love You Truly" and "At Dawning." The bride wore a gown of chiffon organdie, carrying an arm bouquet of the Bride roses. Following the wedding the mem bers or the bridal party enjoyed a charming wedding breakfast and im mediately afterward the bride and groom departed on an auto trip to the south where they will visit New Orleans and other southern cities, returning to Louisville on May 1st when they will be at home to their friends in the beautiful new home that the groom has just completed, The bride was born and grew to womanhood In Louisville where she is one of the popular members of the younger social set of that city and is loved and ' esteemed by a large circle of friendsj, ,Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. -Frank - H. Nichols, are among the, long time and prominent residents of Louisville. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Lundteigen, Sr., of Kansas City .vice-nresident of the Ash Grove Cement Co., and the groom has been the plant superintendent at Louisville since tho completion ot the large plant in that city in 1927 The wedding was very quiet and attended by only the immediate rela tives of the young people. Those from out of Louisville attending were Mr, and Mrs. Andrew Lundteigen and daughter, Mrs. M. W. Whittier and Alan Sunderland, Kansas City, Mo., Mr3. A. B. From Tuesday's Dally Thi3 morning at tho family home on Washington avenue occurred the death of Mrs. Michael McCool, 75, a resident of this city for a great many years. Mrs. McCool had not been critically ill until recently, but had gradually been failing in recent years. She was able to be up and around and down in the main section of the city just a short time ago. The departed lady made many friends in the long years of her resi dence here and who regret to learn of the death of the friend and neigh bor of the yeara past. Mrs. McCool is survived by four sons, George, Albert and John Har- kin of Omaha, and Michael McCool, as well as several grandchildren, one of whom, Howard Jolly, resides In this city. The husband passed away a number of years ago. There ha3 been no definite ar rancements made for the funeral services, pending the arrival of mem bers of the family. A caucus of the voters was held two weeks ago to select a double set of candidates to be voted on by tho voters. Tho election re sulted In Ira Clark and Charles Green being named to the village board; D. Ray Frans, selected as vil lage clerk and Elmer R. Witherow as the village treasurer.
