The scoring of Tecumseh occurred in the first half; of. the game, they making a touchdown in the ilrst and second periods. In the opening quarter Tecumseh completed a number of passes that carried the ball into the Plattsmouth' territory. Story taking the ball from the Plattsmouth two , foot line and smashing through 'for the touchdown. The pass for the' extra point was good placing Tecumseh out in front by the score of, 7. to. u. In the second period more passes for good gains were completed, mixed with off tackle plays that brought the ball down t striking distance of the Plattsmouth goal and where Story was able to smash the line for, the additional touchdown but the try for extra point failed. x The efforts of the Platters in the second half compelled the Tecumseh' stars to remain in to battle the smaller and lighter team, a passing attack being used by Plattsmouth that gained much, ground. Tecum seh s fumble pf the ball, recovered by Plattsmouth. for, a moment looked dark for the host team, but on a fast and well placed pass from Hirz to Garnett, the ballijust Tolled off the finger of the Plattsmouth linesman standing on Tecumseh goal line and the show was blbwed up.' ' In the ground 'gaining and' offen sive. Ronne looked the best 'for the locals, the Platter fullback smashing the heavy line of Tecumseh for sub stantial gains. ' Both teams suffered from the ef fects of the slippery field. - This was the- last game of tbe Plattsmouth team until Thanksgiv ing day when : they play Nebraska City here in the annual clash oX th two scnools, tbe finale of the season ' Tecumseh Plattsmouth Mooney : : Garnett Bates (co-C) xLlt Armstrong Dale McCoy -,lg Luscjblnsky Oellerich . !c , (C) Donat Don McCoy rg ' Wetenkamp OldfieM l'irti'- i- Porter Rosankranz . re Rummel Klein .b ,; Hirz Johnson lhT Frady Current rh, . .
