From Friday's Daily
C. C. Cotner, owner of the new
Plattsmouth-Omaha bus line, is the
latest contributor to the American
Legion community building fund,
his subscription being for $25,00,
which brings the total amount sub
scribed to date up to $10,285.01.
Of this more than $S, 000.00 has
been paid in and expended on work
done to date, and the committee i3
already faced with the prospect of
having to borrow to meet current es
timates unless those subscribers who
pledged the remaining $2,000 ar
range to make good on their obliga
tions right away.
Money is needed badly and all who
can possibly do so should pay their
pledge at once to Leslie Niel, treas
urer of the Finance committee.
