The county clerk was instructed
to publish the following notice in all
the county papers:
"The County Board of Equaliza
tion will meet for the purpose of
equalizing the assessment of Cass
county for the year 1921 in the
Commissioners' chamber at the court
house in Plattsmouth. Nebraska,
commencing on Tuesday. June 14th.
1921. at 9 o'clock a. m. and con
tinuing in sesr-ion from day to day
until NOON on Friday, June 17th.

rooms were the red June roses which
wero very attractively arranged and
iuade a pleasing feature of the en
tertainment. A very dainty two-course luncheon
was served by Mrs. Herold who was
assisted by a few of the neighbors
and friends in serving the little folks.
The dining room was darkened and
the members of the party were
marched into the room and requested
to count in unison the seven candles
which decorated the birthday cake.
The place cards were in the form of
little hatchets and the ice cream dec
orated with American flags.

After the luncheon the little folks
adjourned to the city park where they
enjoyed many games and frolicks un
til the time for the departure home
ward came. I'oisall received many
handsome gifts in remembrance of the
pleasant occasion.
