J. K. Yoiinc came down from hi
home near 'o)rii1ce last Saturday
to spend Sunday with friends
and relative at the old home. Mr.
Vounc has been a resident of the
northern part of the state for several
years and is at present deeply in
terested in the fine caltle salt, in
which he has been very Micccssf ul
and has one of the fine herds of the
northern part of Nebraska. He re
turned to Omaha to attend a, tine
cattle sale on Monday and Tuesday,
where lie expected to purchase a
couple of fine cows.
New threshing machine out fits
are arriving in this part of the
county pretty lively the past few
days. The W. II. Puis Hardware
store .sold three outfits that arrived

also were present from Cuba, the
