Donnelly but on account of the Spanish influenza epidemic and the Christmas festivi ties the Birthday Club were unable to celebrate Mrs. Donnelly's birth day in their usual and proper man ner, until last evening. The jolly members of this Birthday Club gath ered at the Donnelly home at six o'clock and participated in a "spare rib" and sauer kraut six o'clock dinner. It is needless to say that the members of the Birthday Club fortunate enough to be in attend ance did ample justice as this is a particular dinner Mrs. Donnelly, only, knows best how to prepare. After the serving of the dinner the remainder of the evening was de voted to various amusemen's and other diversions which made the occasion long to be remembered by the participants.
