E3 OUR PATENTED NEW STROUGHTON ROLLER FEE-D! EHJ
The endless apron is driven by the simplest and most efficient driver ever invented.
The apron is driven direct from the hind axle by two rollers which revolve on ix inclined pica-i on ti
hind axle. A simpler or better feed cannot be imagined.
The apron drive wheel is geared down twice as much as on other makes. This inures the i- ! r.1- -lutely
uniform and positive. The feed is not only positive, but takes so little power that y a can ! .in:! : .:
from the horses when the apron is running. This also absolutely prevents from sliding wh- : ': !.
The same lever which first throws the beater intooperarion engages one notch after the h r a- it -scends:
the apron moves so slowly at the first notch as to give only a thin top ore-sing. When h"i v
engages the lowest notch, five times us much is spread as in the first notch. There are ti e c: :. : - ..' '

DEPUTY PATTON CLOSES
VERY SUCCESSFUL CAM
PAIGN IN THIS CITY
From "Wednesday's Daily.
Last evening the Knifrhts and
Ladies of Security gathered at their
lodge rooms to enjey one of the most
plea.-ant social gatherings which it
has been their good fortune to hold in
the last few months. During the
evening a splendid program, consist
ing of musical numbers, as well as
readings, served to pass the time very
pleasantly and the members of the
order greatly enjoyed the opportunity
of meeting together. Preceding the
social session the regular business of
the lodge was looked after and a num
ber of new members inducted into the
mysteries of the order. During the
evening very dainty and delicious re
freshments were served, which added
greatly to the general enjoyment and
pleasure of the members of the jolly j
crowd who were present.
This closes the effective campaign
which Deputy Tatton has been con
ducting in this city for the last few
weeks for this order, and as a result
of his work, as well as that of Mrs.
Clark, supreme conductor of the
order, there has been a large addition
made to the membership in this city
and the lodge work enlivened by the
work of the rustling deputy. The
members here, with the inspiration
given them should continue the good
