Hom the fad that the chief characteristic was good order, and kind feeling pre vailed upon boih sides through out the game. There was one accidenl occurred, the bat slip ped from ihe hands of one of ihe halters, giving Ceorge Spolm "a black eye. (ieorge thinks a "back seal" will be his choice a! the next game. Those most signaliz ing themselves as players were Mr. Cunningham and Frank r.Iemnions. The former showing by his agility and earnestness in the game thai the first has should be well attended: ami Frank showing-, by the swiftness and accuracy of his pitching that he was just the lo for the pitch er's stand. One day last week, at the in vitation of Mr. J. F. Metteer, agent for the Marsh harvester, we took a ride out westward to see the Marsh harvester work. At the farm of Mr. Murra- we found the boys a sailing in on a bran new machine, and the business of tying up grain seemed certainly to be much improved over the old back- breaking, knee - binding. tiresome journeying round and round the field after the sheaves. The binders on a Marsh harvester can truly say like the Irishman with his potatoes, "If you want any sheaves bound, fetch em on our fable, we ain't, agoing all 'round the field after them." not afoot, anyway. Every one that has tried a Marsh seems pleased and satisfied wilh the machine, and Mr. Met! ! has worked this business up Horn one machine in 'Tor to three carloads and over Ibis season. We guess he must be the right man in Ihe right place, and hope he may have as good success always. A Bill to Authorize the Issue of Arms to the Authorities of the State of Nebraska.
