Byron Young of O'Neill, Neb., is visiting friends and relatives in and near Murray this week, Mr. Young was an early settler of this locality, and it is I he place thai always seems like home o him. lie has many friends here, who are alwavs mighty glad to see him. Karl, the r-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Iteckman, fell into an tdd cave last Saturday, striking upon his cheek, cutting quite an ugly gash in his face. WALKER IS FOUND DEAD Supposed to Have Committed Suicide Some Time Last Night Details are Lacking The news of the death of Dr. A. E. Walker was telephoned to this city this afternoon about 5:30 from Union, where the doctor has been engaged in the practice of medicine. The doctor had not been noticed around the village during the day, ond some of his friends went to the office about 4:30 to see if there was any word left, and on entering the back room they were horrified to find the body of the unfortunate still in death, having been shot through the right temple, the bullet passing clear through the head. It is not known whether it was suicide.or not, as the parties finding the body did not' touch any of the ( fleets in the room, j waiting until the arrival of the sher-i iff and county attorney.
