Griffin of Oklahoma City, Okla., a former old-time citizen of Louisville spent a few days here this week visiting his many friends. Mr. Griffin left Louisville sixteen years ago and went direct to Oklahoma. Vallery returned Friday evening from an overland trip to Val pariso, Neb., where they went about one week ago with 127 head of cattle, some young calves and five head of horses which were taken to J. Kear, died in this city yesterday evening at the age of twenty-seven years. Mrs. Kear was tbe only child oT Seymour Reed, and was born and raised on the farm where she died.
