Many Dwellers Along the Missouri's River
Banks Want to Form a'

river, as well as at points remote from
railways along the Missouri's btnks

proposition witli more fervor as the

ing, Mo., and Fred Llehman of Fargo.
Neb., as well as capitalists at other

and St. Joseph, are behind the move
ment, and expect It to gain such head
way that a company with a large capi
tal will bo formed at an early date for
the furthering of the work. They de
clare that the use of the Missouri
river fur transporting heavy commodi
ties Is an absolute necessity and that
such an easy means of transportation
should be used.
'They say that a boat and barge
line will do away with congestion of
freight at large points. Transport a
