Get What Yon
Want
That is, in the grocery line,
at Soennichsen's. You can
not go to any grocery store
and get arfything in the gro
cery line that you want like
you can at Soennichsen's.
You can go there and get
the staple articles at a sav
ing that you cannot afford to
ignore. You also get good
goods and prompt service. Is
not that worth considering?
Just give him your next gro
cery order and see if this isn't
true.

On account of failing health I have
disposed of my Insurance business to
Mr. J. E. Barwick.
This agency includes the following
Companies which I have represented
the past 17 years, to wit:-
The Home Insurance Company of
New York.
The Liverpool, London & Globe Ins.
Co.
The Springfield F. & M. Ins. Co., of
Mass.
The Insurance Co. of North America,

The Fire Association of Philadelpii-.
The Franklin Fire Ins. of Philade'
phia. I wish to express my appreciation of
of the liberal patronage wich which I
have been favored, with the hope that
same will be continued to my successor
Mr. Barwick, who will give the inter
ests of the Assured the same careful
attention that I have endeavored to do
in the past. 31-2 Tho3. Pollock.
Birthday Party.
About fifty friends and neighbors of
David S. Taylor gathered at his home
in South Park Monday night and very
much surprised that worthy gentleman
in assisting him to celebrate his 71st
birthday anniversary. Mr. Taylor was
greatly pleased at t'.eir attention and
delighted at the gifts presented him.
Rev. Luther Moore in a happy speech
congratulated the aged gentleman on
the passing of another milestone and
hoped.he would live to enjoy the re
turn of many more birthdays. Mr.
Taylor was born at Vincennes, i Ind.
He was in the Civil War and passed
through many battles antTexciting ad
ventures, being captured and kept a
prisoner for 10 days then recaptured.
Ital ana Start a Rougl- Houaa.
Tuesday evening two Italians work
ing at track work under Foreman Scott
of the Burlington railway got into what
might have been a pretty bad scrape if
Mr. Scott had not interfered and drove
ofT one of the men who was about to
carve the other up with a large knife.
It seems this man, who is among the
new gang that came here to take the
place of the strikers, h quite quarrel
some and being unable to provoke any
one by insults enough to fight started
the trouble anyway. The sheriff was
notified but the Italian made a get-away
and the other members of the gang
will be pleased if he never comes back.

very critical condition which news, will
be sorrowfully received by her many
friends in this vicinity.

Crain all Stacked.
Philip Born of near Cullom was in
the city yesterday on business. He
states he has all his grain stacked and
has finished cutting his clover and is
well along with his fall plowing. Philip
wears the happy smile of the farmer
who gets after his work and keeps it up
to date thus assuring a great deal of
contentment and well earned profit and
return on time and labor spent. '

In these days when , so much investi
gating is going on it would be a good idea
if you would do a little investigating on
your own account. It would be well worth
your time if you would investigate other
threshing machinery and then investigate
CASE machinery. CASE threshing ma
chinery will stand the most critical exam
ination because it is built on right princi
ples backed by sixty-seven years exper
ience and its good work is attested by
grain growers all over the United States.
A CASE steel separator is an improve
ment over the old fashioned wooden sep
arator in that it is fire-proof, water-proof
and weather-proof. Being fire-proof it
will save you the premium on an insurance
policy. Beino: water and weather' proof
it does not deteriorate so rapidly as a
wooden machine. A 32x32-inch cylinder
20-bar.would cost $475. You should see
me about catalogues and particulars.
