John Thomssen, sr., living on the island, tho father of County Treasurer Thomssen, has for tho past thirty yeais had ni Indian pony, which has been something of a favorite with the family with tho family, says the Gr.tr.d Island Independent. .Mr. Thomssen bought the animal in 1SG3 of a Pawnee chief, and it was then upposed to be live .years old.
