altercation this morning about 10
a. in. in which talk more forcible
than elegant wna indulged in, re
aulting in the coming together of
the partiea. Seibert struck Slicker
over the head with a heavy turning
chisel, which, had it not been for
the protection afforded by the
wearingof h heavy cap, would have
resulted seriously. Seibert claims
that Slicker waa preparing to strike
him a blow with a hammer and the
blow was given In self defense.
