TORNADO POLICIES.
The present year bids fair to be a dis
astrous one from tornadoes and wind
storms. This is fore-shadowed by the
number of storms we haye already had
the most destructive ene so far this year
having occurred at Mt. Vernon, 111.,
where a large number f buildings were
