WHEREAS, a joint resolution v as adopted by tbe Legislature of the State ol Nebiaska, at the Eighteenth Session thereof, jind approv ed February 27th, A. i. 1S83, proposing an Amendment to Section Four 14), of Article Three (Z of the Constitution of said State, and that said section as amended shall read as follows, to-wit : " Section 4. The term of office of members of the Legislature shall he two yearn, and they shall each receive a salary of three hundred dollars for their services during said term, and ten cents for every mile they shall tiavel in tioiug ai.d returning from the place of ireetins f the Legislature, on the most usual route.
