The tenth annual meetiuir of the
Nebrask Woman's Suffrage Associa
tion will be held in Hastings, Octo
ber '11 and 28, beginning with alter-
noon session October 11.
Each annual convention records
mi increasing public sentiment in
c .
favor of womau s enfranchisement,
and a growing concern on the part of
the women of Nebraska to be inves
ted with the rights and dignities
of citizenship. While the advance in
Nebraka has been in the lineof edu
cation, the last decade has brought
many important and direct gains
elsewhare, to the Woman's SuiTaue
movement, and these should give
us courage rfiid afresh determina
tion to push forward the work in
Nebraska, that our state may not lag
in the onword march of our nation
toward a more perfect realization of
the principles of republican govern
ment.
The members of the association
aud the friends of woman's suffrage
throughout the state, should gather
at this convention lor congratula

and for counsel as to the steps
which should be taken to push our
work to a speedy victory iu this
