The father filed notice of his in tention to become a citizen, but did not take out his final papers until November, 18U0. The son did not take out his paperj here and it is statod that he has never been naturalized in Nebraska. The statutes provide that where the father wo naturalized his sons under twenty- one y.-ars of age ure naturalized. In this case the father filed his declaration in 1849, but did not take out the final papers until 1890. It may interest thoee of our people who have a lingering desire to see the day when Ashland is taken back into Ciuss county, her original location, to know that Judge Samuel Chapman agrees with them that Ashland properly belongs in Cas county, and shenld be replaced therein.
